Scent

Lots of rich brown sugar. A little banana candy, but not as artificial as a typical Jack. Round, no strength or oak in the nose. Hints of the best JDBPs at a lower strength point.

Taste

Classic Jack Daniel's. Lots of banana nuts and Runt flavours, oak and peppery spice that comes through at the end. The light brown sugar is slightly burnt, as is the cinnamon. The mouthfeel is coating and slightly astringent, leaving a coating of JD flavour on the tongue. The cinnamon and nutmeg continue to build, as do the Assam tea and dashes of red spice. Medium to long, coats the palate, revealing rice pudding. Melts under the tongue. It seems to last forever.
