It opens up with notes of blackberry, blackcurrant and small notes of ripe red fruits (redcurrant, raspberry) associated with light notes of undergrowth, zan, as well as a very discreet hint of mushrooms/truffles, camphor and a barely perceptible hint of tonka beans.

On the palate it is beautifully suave, beautifully balanced (richness/fineness), harmonious, sensual/airy, offering a very beautiful freshness, unctuousness, delicate texture, beautiful minerality, very beautiful precision/fineness, and also surprising elegance. This wine expresses notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, ripe red berries and small notes of ripe strawberry, juicy cherry, associated with subtle touches of dark chocolate/cocoa, almond, a hint of toast, as well as a very discreet hint of iris/violet (in the background), hazelnut, mushroom (in the aftertaste) and imperceptible hints of bourbon vanilla. The tannins are fine, elegant, structuring and unobtrusively chewy. There is an imperceptible note of coffee/espresso in the aftertaste.
